POONCH, Sept 24: One person was injured in a truck-car collision in Gursai area of Mendhar Sub Division in district Poonch today.
The mishap took place at Totan Wali Gali, on Jammu-Poonch highway, when the mini-truck No. JK14C/0117 which was on way to Poonch from Jammu met head on collision at a sharp curve with a Maruti car No. JK02AJ/ 4509, which was moving to Jammu from Poonch.
Car driver Zahir Abbas (Govt employee/ PO in H&UD), resident of Doda was injured and was rushed to Surankote hospital. Later, he was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
