JAMMU, Sept 23: Vice-Chairman, Jammu & Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited Ch Manmohan Singh convened separate meetings with Principal, Government Medical College Jammu, Principal Govt Dental College, Jammu and Director Health Services Jammu to resolve various issues with a view to strengthen the working of Jammu & Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL).
During the said meeting, vice chairman issued instructions for proper coordination between the Corporation and line departments. He also directed the Managing Director, JKMSCL to ensure timely execution of supplies to various Health & Medical Education Institutions.
During the meeting Singh took various important decisions with regard to timely submission of requisitions of medicines, drugs, machinery & equipments for the year 2018-19 along with the commitment of funds, so as to finalize the rate contracts in a time bound manner and to get the supplies executed well in time, the appointment of Nodal Officer to coordinate between the Corporation and line departments, financial and physical reconciliation at Drug Ware House level in coordination with intending departments, to provide ministerial staff to the Corporation as per the decision already taken by the administrative department etc.
Another review meeting was also convened with the Medical officers and in-charges of Regional Drug Ware Houses of Jammu Division during which strict instructions were issued by the Vice Chairman, JKMSCL with regard to submission of samples to quality control section of the corporation with in 72 hrs and submission of invoices after duly verification by the board with ten days from the date of receipt of supplies at respective drug ware houses.
The meeting was attended by Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal Government Medical College, Jammu; Inder Jeet, Managing Director, JKMSCL; Dr Gurjeet Singh, Director Health Services, Jammu; Ashok Khajuria, Financial Advisor, JKMSCL; Dr Rajinder Khajuria, General Manager (Administration), JKMSCL; Dr Manoj Kumar Chalotra Med Supt, Dr Dara Singh-Med Supt GMC Jammu; Dr Raj Kumar Sangra, Med Supt SMGS Hospital, Dr Sunita Puri, Medical Supt, Government Dental College, Jammu besides other officers and officials of Government Medical College, Jammu and JKMSCL.
