JAMMU, Sept 4: “Council of Engineers” has strongly refuted the narration given by the Graduate Engineers (GEASSOC), about the interpretation of 20% quota rule position in favour of the JK State Diploma engineers.
Reacting to the remarks of Graduate Engineers which appeared in the columns of this newspaper on August 27, president of the Council ( Dip Enggs) VK Trikha, condemned the remarks and alleged that some vested interested have put forth a concocted and fabricated version suited to them with their own will by presenting a distortion of rule position with respect to the quota position which in vogue as per SRO 297 of 2007 read with GAD order No.107 of 2002 incepted and surge with a the strength of J&K State Cabinet decision No. 186/15 dated 27-12-2001 aftermath of the judgment declared by the Apex Court in the year 2000, titled the Suraj Prakash Gupta vrs state and others.
He warned that such people should avoid creating confusion by issuing such statements in the media.
