UDHAMPUR, Sept 3: A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in village Patthi in Udhampur.
According to a Police spokesman, 21- year old Vikram Singh, son of Suresh Singh of village Patthi in Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence last night. The family members noticed him in critical condition and rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was handed over to the family after conducting postmortem. Cause of provocation could not be ascertained while a case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
