RAJOURI, Aug 24: A computers repair shop was gutted in a mysterious fire incident on University Road at Rajouri town last night.
Reports said that the fire broke up in the shop of one Raghubir Singh, son of Surinder Singh of Rajouri at around 11.30 pm. The people of the area came to know about the matter and informed the owner. They immediately informed the local Fire Station about the matter. The Fire tender did not arrive after long wait but the locals gathered there started rescue operation by pouring water. They managed to control the fire but massive loss had already been caused to the property.
The police party also reached there after some time. The police has taken cognizance of the matter. It could not be ascertained whether fire broke up due to short circuit or it was some mischief. The police was investigating the matter. Loss of property was being assessed, the police said.
