KISHTWAR, July 27: Terming PDP-BJP Government in J&K as total failure, president of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), Pranav Shagotra today said that legalizing corruption and nepotism is only achievement of this regime. He alleged that BJP Central leadership was patronizing corruption in the State.
Addressing party convention at Kishtwar today, the PYC chief said that corruption in the State has crossed all the limits and except patronizing transfer industry, BJP ministers in the coalition have done nothing for the people.
PYC president said that the way BJP’s Central leadership has maintained deaf ear and blind eye towards on going corruption and nepotism in J&K, is an indication that Central Government’s campaign against corruption is confined only on papers.
“It appears that corrupt BJP ministers of J&K are giving due share of their ‘hard-earned’ money from corruption to the Central leadership of the party that is why Centre is supporting these ministers”, Shagotra said.
Taking a dig at BJP ministers in the coalition for legalizing corruption, PYC president that only achievement of BJP ministers is flourishing transfer industry in the State. He dared the Government to come out with any of its achievement during the last two and half years. He pointed out that the whole-sale transfers in the different departments in an indication of corruption in the system.
Speaking on the occasion, Uma Shankar Panday, secretary IYC and incharge J&K Youth Congress regretted that people of J&K are confronting to get basic amenities but those at the helm of the affairs have failed to solve day today problems of the masses. He said that during visit to different areas of the State it was come to his notice that there was complete breakdown of system and common masses are bearing maximum brunt of anti-people policies of this regime.
Sheshpal Singh, secretary, IYC and incharge PYC, lambasted PDP-BJP Government for playing with the future of youth of this border State. He regretted that present Government has failed to come out with any policy to solve issues related to young generation.
Senior PYC leaders Rashid Malik, Pankaj Sharma, Vijay Hiteshi, Firdous Mingnoo ( Distt Coordinator Kishtwar) Waseem Makker, Majeed Rahi, Javed Lone, Randeep Bhandari, Asif Bhutt, Yograj , Waseem Saroori, and Parvesh Sharma also addressed the convention.
