KATRA, Oct 29: One of the leading Information Technology and Software Development Company, HCL Technologies, visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and recruited 28 engineers from Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering branches.
The HCL Campus drive at SMVDU, concluded here today, after the students passed through rigorous multiple interview sessions before their final selection. Meanwhile, expressing satisfaction over the infrastructure and facilities at SMVDU, the team-coordinator from HCL was extremely pleased with the selections made in the Campus.
Prof R N K Bamezai, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU advised the students to work hard to come up to the expectations of HCL so that HCL-SMVDU relationship grows further. Prof Bamezai also complimented the T&P Faculty & Student Coordinators and Placement Officer SMVDU for the good show. He further stressed upon the students to prepare for other placement opportunities which are expected to materialize shortly.
B K Bhatia, Placement Officer SMVDU said that SMVDU is an accredited partner of HCL and enjoys a slot at the top.
He said that the students who could not get selected in HCL should not lose their heart and prepare hard for the next campus drive by Capgemini a multinational company scheduled on November 6, 2012 in SMVDU.
