JAMMU, June 19: A free eye checkup camp was organised at Panchayat Ghar Pouni Chack Jammu today by the Badayian Da Satkar Sanstha, Pouni Chack Jammu and Sufi Jatt Records’ Music Lab Studio Ludhiana, through Dr K D’s Eye Hospital Sainik Colony Jammu where 260 residents of village Pouni Chack and adjoining area got their eye checkup and expert advice, free spectacles were also distributed.
Further sugar level check-up of most of the patients was also conducted through Swastik Diagnostic Laboratory Jammu. Rajesh Raja (MD Sufi Jatt Records) Ludhiana announced that such types of social camps will be organised in future in other States also.
The said camp was inaugurated by Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishor Sharma. Dr Shiv Kumar, Madan Lal, Adil ji, Amit Manhas, Rinku, Tinku, Hanney, Shamsher, Dilawar Kumar, Sarpanch Ramesh Chander and Rajesh Raja served the patients with full zeal and made the camp successful.
