JAMMU, Oct 24: J&K karatekas Sahil Singh and Vishal Singh bagged bronze medals in the International Open Karate Championship held on the 20th Anniversary of World Karate Federation (WKF) in Sri Lanka, recently.
While Sahil of KC Public School, Jammu won bronze in men’s individual kumte (fight) event in Cadet +75 kg category, Vishal Singh of Trikuta Degree College, Jammu bagged bronze in senior men’s individual +84 kg category.
These karatekas have received training from Ambedkar Gupta, 4th Dan Black Belt, the president, Amateur Karate Do Association J&K.
