Srinagar : One civilian was reported to be injured in yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur Kerni area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night. This is the third case of ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army in last 36 hours. The Pakistan Army launched indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars at 11 pm on Friday night.
According to police sources, the injured has been identified as Akhtar. Reportedly, a shell from the Pakistani side hit her house in Shahpur Kerni area of Poonch. She has been admitted to Poonch hospital. Meanwhile, the firing is still on and the Indian Army posts are retaliating strongly and effectively. Heavy firing and shelling from Pakistan took place in Poonch, Shahpur, Kerni, Sauujian and Mendher districts (Agencies)
