SRINAGAR, Oct 19: J&K bank inaugurated an ATM at District Police Lines Pulwama today.
Bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (South) Mushtaq Ahmad Mir and Additional SP Pulwama Javeed Ahmad jointly inaugurated the ATM, which is 75th in the zone, in presence of DSPs Basheer Ahmad, Abdul Hamid, Head B.U Manzoor Ahmad Attar and large number of police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion Addl. SP thanked the bank authorities for providing ATM facility and lauded the role of the Bank in the socio economic development of the State.
On the occasion the Zonal Head described in detail the progress made by the bank in implementing the world class technology for the benefit of the society at large.
Meanwhile, the Bank conducted a financial awareness camp in co-ordination with Handloom Development Department (HDD) Pulwama for the benefit of handloom weavers and artisans belonging to various areas of the district.
Various deposit and lending schemes of banks were discussed with the participants while focusing on financing handloom development activities in the district.
Two more such camps were held at Badijahaln & Dandward in Kulgam. Officers made people aware about various financial schemes particularly those tailored for agriculture and horticulture.
