KALABURAGI (KARNATAKA): Leader of the Congress party in the Lok Sabha M Mallikarjun Kharge today chided the BJP led State Governments particularly Rajasthan and Gujarat for failing to provide protection to Kashmiri students studying in their States.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Kharge said that in the last few days, there have been incidents in Chittorgarh and recently in BITS Pilani, where Kashmiri students have been harassed. Earlier, some Kashmiri students were allegedly beaten up by few locals in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh district, following which many Kashmiri students studying at the Mewar University demanded protection.
