It is a matter of grave concern that the State Government is delaying issuance of notification of 7th Pay Commission recommendations which could have benefitted the State Government employees and pensioners. State Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu is requested to immediately issue the notification regarding implementation of the 7th Pay Commission in favour of its employees and pensioners, so that confusion and uncertainty among the employees of the State Govt and pensioners on this vital issue could come to an end. Employees and pensioners hope that the Government after taking into account the rising prices and medical expenses will pay interim relief to employees and pensioners preferably @ 20 percent. Government should also release 7 percent DA due from July last in favour of State Govt employees and pensioners and enhance Medical allowance to Rs 3000 per month in favour of employees and pensioners.
