JAMMU, Apr 10: In separate cases, two persons including a young girl today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a girl identified as Diksha (20) daughter of Yashpal, resident of Pathyalachak, today consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Similarly, a woman namely Chanchlo Devi (35), wife of Raj Kumar, resident of Marh, also allegedly made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence. She was also shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
