UDHAMPUR, Apr 8: A man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence here today.
According to a police spokesman, a 35-year-old man namely Sohan Lal son of Gorishanker of village Sui Chakhar, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence, this evening.
“Noticing him vomiting, the family members rushed Sohan to District Hospital, Udhampur, where doctors declared him as brought dead”, he said, adding, the body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem while Udhampur police had registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
