SRINAGAR, Mar 10: Special Judge Anti-Corruption Court for districts of Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora Jatinder Singh Jamwal today rejected bail application of four Government officials arrested by the State Vigilance Organization under Prevention of Corruption Act.
The Government officials namely Mohammad Shafi Wani, the then Zonal Education Officer Dangerpora, Mehraj-ud-Din Shawl, the then Zonal Education Planning Officer Dangerpora, Ali Mohammad Mushki, the then Headmaster Government Middle School Rajpora and Zahoor Ahmad Shah, teacher in Government Middle School Rajpora were booked under Section (1) (c) read with Section 5(2) J&K Prevention of Corruption Act, Section 409 and 467, 120-B RPC for embezzlement of Rs 13,20,321.
