Working of Relief Department

Sir,
There is lot of resentment among the people of migrant community as far as the working of Relief Department is concerned in the Jammu city.  Relief and Rehabilitation Department was enacted to work for the overall welfare of the migrant community in particular but it’s very agonizing and painful that the employees sitting there in the said department are least bothered by the issues and concerns of  the migrant community.  It is so sad and distressing that various grievances of  like issuance of new ration cards, registration cases,  mutation inheritance cases, bifurcation cases etc neither gets addressed on time nor any execution can be expected from the employee of the Relief Commissioner Department. However one has   to often  visit  the said office for the genuine addressal of their cases.  Visiting multiple times in the Relief Office for the same concern creates extreme inconvenience. It has been widely observed that only false promises, fake assurance and wrong commitments are given to the public at large in return to their grievances by these officials.
I would like here to make an appeal  to the Minister of Relief and Rehabilitation to look into this matter and direct the Relief Department to  formulate a genuine solution for the speedy execution of the grievances.
