JAMMU, Dec 26: The Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has urged upon the State Government to address their long pending issue of removing pay anomalies.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the joint leadership of Babu Hussain Malik, Bharat Bhushan and KA Diwani, the Association members strongly condemned the anti-employee stance of the Govt. They alleged that Govt has funds for increasing pay/ perks of ministers and legislators but have no money for the working class.
They alleged that Govt is not paying wages of the thousands of temporary workers, avoiding to implement 7th Pay Commission report and enhance Medical allowance of the workers and pensioners. It is claiming scarcity of funds but for enhancing wages of own ministers and MLAs/ MLCs, it has plenty of funds. They warned to launch massive agitation in near future.
