REASI, Dec 25: Zorawar Cricket Club and Saraswati Cricket Club defeated their rivals in the ongoing T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by District Police Reasi, under the Civic Action Programme at Sports Stadium, here.
In the first match, Zorawar CC defeated District Police XI by a narrow margin of 6 runs. Batting first, Zorawar CC scored 118 for 3 wickets in 15 overs. Movein top scored with 36 runs, while Shadab and Rahil contributed 27 runs each. For District Police XI, Mohd Ashraf bagged 2 wickets, while Vinod claimed one.
In reply, District Police XI managed to score 112 runs in 15 overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 6 runs. Shadab took 3 wickets, while Moein claimed one for Zorawar Cricket Club.
In another match, Saraswati CC got better of Reasi CC by 8 wickets. Reasi scored 130 /6, while Saraswati scored 132 for 2 to win the match by 8 Wickets. Kapil played a brilliant innings of 50 runs.
Kewal Singh and Mujeeb-ur-Rehman were the chief guests in first and second match respectively.
