Sir,
In the climate of cleansing the systems in the country, the employees with dubious integrity must face the music. Our state has been not up to the mark in relieving the administrative set up of those employees who are suspected or involved in unethical practice and such cases must see their relieving of duties in Government services. Usually the areas which prompt and generate taking place of unethical practices are deliberate time taken on disposal of matters concerning the public and getting involved in unnecessary paper work.
As a measure to streamline the system in Government offices, a time schedule display is mandatory whereby the public is informed about how much time a particular job was going to take place and within which the matter could be disposed. Then the obsolete rules , procedures , regulations which are followed right from the British Raj are required to be reviewed in order to make things in offices easy for the public.
While identifying the “dead wood” and concluding their services forthwith , regard must be had for the fact that only junior level cadre must not be brought into the net but higher ranking officers must be made more responsible for their acts which are suspect and even non performance and incompetence too must be cleansed in this country poised for a clean and transparent governance as also public friendly
Yours etc……
Harshvardan
