JAMMU, Nov 25: Parade police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, a team from Parade police post conducted raid and arrested an absconder from Dogra Hall area, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Mohitesh Kumar alias Munna, son of Ved Parkash, a resident of Rajpura, Shakti Nagar.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 91/2005 under Section 307, 109 and 120-B RPC and 3/25 Arms Act with police station Pacca Danga. The arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC also stands issued against the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Parade police post SI Deepak Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat, SDPO City Vivek Shekhar Sharma and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
