JAMMU, Nov 24: In the process to provide easy access of cash withdrawals on the onset of demonetization and other basic banking services to the employees of Airport, CISF, Airline employees and passengers, Axis Bank has set up a micro ATM at Jammu Airport.
The Axis Bank’s micro ATM was inaugurated by Javed Anjum, officiating Director Airport Authority of India – Jammu Airport , Vishesh Dingra , Cluster Head, J&K and Vikas Kumar, Jammu Branch Head of Axis Bank.
Bank’s micro ATMs at Jammu airport will enable employees of the airport, CISF, Airline employees and others to perform basic financial transactions such as cash withdrawals and deposits, fund transfer and making utility bill payments. They can access the services by using their Aadhaar card number and fingerprint as an identity proof.
Sanjay Silas, President & Head Branch Banking, Axis Bank said, “The launch of micro ATM at Jammu airport is a step towards proactively reaching out extensively to the people working at the airport. “We are identifying communityled strategic locations and deploying micro ATMs to save customers time and offer better banking services,” he added.
