JKNPP burns effigies of corrupt BJP Ministers

JAMMU, Nov 24: Agitated over the shielding of two corrupt BJP cabinet ministers in J&K Government, score of panthers party workers led by Balwant Singh Mankotia president JKNPP and Dhani Ram Attri State secretary staged massive protest demonstration at Slathia Chowk Udhampur and also burnt the effigy of Union as well State Government seeking the disclosure of BJP corrupt ministers in State Cabinet.
Balwant Singh Mankotia came down heavily on the State Government as well as on Union Government for shielding the corrupt BJP ministers having serious corruption charges.
He said that the entire Jammu was rocked when the demonetized cash running into crores of rupees allegedly belonging to a BJP minister was noticed by the police and exposed by the section of media recently. He said that it was unfortunate that the case was being hushed up by the State Government during the period when the whole nation was undergoing demonetization drive to check the corruption and end the regime of black money.
Mankotia while taking a dig at the BJP, also referred to the another report leveling serious allegations of corruption in a deal worth several crores of rupees involving a BJP minister and a MLC of the party in an attempt to safeguard the latter’s real estate business. He exhorted the State Government to immediately disclose the names of these tainted ministers and demanded sacking of the guilty incumbents. Mankotia warned the State Government to take immediate action against the culprits otherwise JKNPP shall launch district level agitation against the BJP to expose its vices and wrong doings.
Others who joined included Sanjeet Sharma district president, Jagdev Jagga district youth president, Ankit Senson city president, Amarnath Mehra, Sanjay Sharma and Sony Singh.
