Srinagar, Nov 23: Police today said five persons were injured in different road accidents across Valley.
A police spokesman said two motorcycles bearing registration number JK01W-2566 and PB10BL-6161 collided at Kandi village of Karnah in Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to a pillion identified as Irshad. Police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said an Alto-800 vehicle bearing registration number JK09A/5292 hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Abdul Qayoom Sheikh at Bagh Bela in Karnah area of Kupwara district. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman further said that an Alto-800 vehicle bearing registration number JK05E-7321 met with an accident at Hathlangoo in Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to a girl. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK02AK-9043 hit and injured a cyclist identified as Huzaib Ahmad at Sarnal in Anantnag district. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The police spokesman added that a trailer bearing registration number JK02AV-7144 collided with a tractor bearing registration number JK13-3250 on National Highway near Vessu at Mir Bazaar in Kulgam district, resulting in injuries to driver of the tractor. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that a case has been registered in this regard.
