Bhat for updating voter lists of displaced community

JAMMU, Nov 22: An emergent meeting of BJP Kashmir Displaced District was convened by its President, Chand Jee Bhat in his office chambers, here today.
The meeting was held after thorough deliberations with the officers of electoral agencies with regard to updation, correction and other discrepancies in their official records.
Bhat said that as per instructions and due deliberations with Election Commission authorities of India at Jammu, the BJP Kashmir District has thought it expedient to activate all BJP District Mandals for starting the campaign for updation of voter I-Cards of displaced community in their respective Mandals.
He said the process has already been started in all Mandals with Sunil Bhat, Vijay Raina, ML Bhat, Bansi Bhat and Shadi Lal Kanth heading Tika Lal Taploo, Kheer Bhawani, Durga, Jawala Ji and Badrakali Mandals respectively.
Bhat also appealed the rightful claimants of the displaced community to avail ‘BDT’ Beneficiaries Scheme which is being issued by the Relief Organisation.
Prominent among others who attended the meeting were vice presidents of the District Sharda Nandan Bhat and JL Pandit; general secretaries PL Dhar and Bharat Bushan and secretaries Ravinder Razdan, Chaman Lal Pandita, AK Sher and CL Kaul.
