RAJOURI, Nov 20: Senior Congress leader and prominent academician from Peerpanchal, Mohd Iqbal Shawl, today came down heavily on BJP Government and attributed its anti-Azad protests to cover up the series of its failures on all fronts of governance during half the period of its rule.
Terming BJP’s protest on Ghulam Nabi Azad’s statement in Rajya Sabha, on the cancellation of currency as ridiculous, Shawl said that BJP was not an authority to issue certificates of nationalism.
Shawl said, “During the past more than two years BJP has miserably failed to address to the issues of the people particularly the poor of the country. Finding nothing to hide the failure in its fulfillment of promises, BJP has assayed to harp the tune of communalism in the country. It’s stance against Azad Sahib demonstrates its frustration and loss of confidence.”
Shawl further said that it is now clear to every Indian that BJP can do nothing worth profit to the country besides multiplying the sufferings of the people.
