JAMMU, Nov 20: A meeting of FCI (Food Corporation of India) Executive Staff Union was held today which was presided over by National president of the Union D D Sharma.
Various grievances of the employees working in FCI J&K Region were discussed. The CI employees requested the national president of the union to take up the demands with the national management of FCI.
The main demand of the employees pertained to transfer of Jammu based employees to Kashmir, by the local management, for the reason being that they were affiliated to a particular trade union body
Other issued also related to local transfer policy as also problems faced by employees at Railhead Bari Brahmana and Railhead Udhampur.
