Chirag Paswan to represent India at UNGA

NEW DELHI, Nov 8: Lok Janshakti Party chairman Chirag Paswan will represent India at the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Lok Sabha Member from Jamui constituency along with four members of Indian delegation will present Government’s views on Permanent Mission of India to the UN and also attend meetings and functions organised by the Indian High Commission, a party statement said.

This was the first time, a young MP from Bihar would represent India in the United Nations. Mr Paswan would be on tour to the US till November 14.

The party had also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for nominating Chirag Paswan in the four-member delegation to UN. (UNI)
