JAMMU, Nov 5: All J&K Low Paid Government Employees Federation (LPEF) has strongly urged the Government to immediately revise minimum Daily wages and concede their other pending demands.
In a statement issued, State president of the Federation, Abdul Majid Khan, said that Central Government has provided this relief to its employees long back while as J&K Government is cryptically silent over these matters of vital concern.
Alleging that due to inordinate delay in revision of minimum Daily wage to Rs 350 by the Government, a sense of anguish and anger has grown among the employees and pensioners throughout the State, Khan urged the Government to release salaries/wages of the employees, wage arrears and regulate Daily rated workers/ Adhoc/ Contractual Employees.
