JAMMU, Nov 4: In connection with “Rashtriya Ekta Saptah”, recalling Sardar Patel’s contributions to the unification of India and strengthening co-operative movement, a floral tribute was paid to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Government MA.M College. Jammu, by NSS and NCC Wings of the college.
Garlanding of Patel’s portrait was followed by administering Ekta Pledge. Principal of the College, Prof. Romesh Chander, faculty members as well as NSS volunteers and NCC Cadets took pledge to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the country. They also resolved to make their contributions to ensure internal security of the country. Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Dr. Mazammal Hussain, Dr R K Gupta, Prof Savita Jamwal, Dr Banpreet Kour, Dr Shalini Sharma and Dr I.A Khan were among organizers of the event.
