JAMMU, Nov 4:Employment Information cum Advisory Bureau, Department of Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu, organized a counseling programme on “Career Selection after Graduation” in the premises of Government Degree College, Paloura.
Subject-wise counseling was provided to students by the counseling team of Special resource persons from JU. The objective of the programme was to help the students to know about new and emerging career options in different fields.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal of the College, Prof Rita Bhagat who stressed upon the need of career awareness programmes for the students
The resource persons in the programme were Prof. Shailender Singh, PG Department of History, JU, Dr Ashok Kumar, Associate Prof. PG Department of Hindi, JU and Dr Sapna Sangra, Assistant Prof PG Department of Sociology, JU. Dr Rewa Khajuria, Counselor, EIAB, JU, exhorted the students about the career selection.
Formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Seema Sudan, Convenor Career Counseling Cell, GDC Paloura.
