SAMBA, Nov 3: A motorcyclist was killed after his bike bearing registration number JK 21C 4996 was hit by an unknown vehicle this evening at NHW Nonath (near Patrol Pump).
The deceased has been identified as Police Constable, Bunty Kumar, 27, S/o Kartar Chand R/o Sanoora. He was posted at IRP 17 Bn Samba.
Police said Bunty who was moving towards Samba on his bike was hit by an unknown vehicle and he fell in a pool of blood. He was shifted to DH Samba by police where doctors declare him as brought dead.
In another accident at Dhini near here one truck bearing No RJ35GR 4302 hit a motorcycle No JKo2BR 4046 in which one person namely Baljeet Sing, S/ o Rash Pal Singh R /o Purkho Jammu was injured. He was shifted to DH Samba for treatment but doctors referred him to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile a bus hit to pedestrian on NHW at Main Chowk Samba. The pedestrian was identified as Deepak, 30, S/o Raj Kumar of Check Manga. He was brought to District Hospital Samba for treatment. The Samba Police has registered FIRs under relevant Sections of law in all the three cases.
