Jammu: Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of veteran politician and former Deputy Chief Minister, Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma who passed away today.
The Chief Minister while paying tributes to the veteran leader hailed his contribution in different capacities to the people of the State during his public life. She said Pandit Mangat Ram had great concern for the poor and downtrodden people irrespective of caste, creed, colour, religion or region.
The Chief Minister visited the residence of late Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma here this afternoon to offer personal condolences to the bereaved family. She prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
