Burning schools

Sir,
Those bent on burning Government schools in Kashmir valley should not be spared. It is duty of civil society members and mainstream political parties to rise up to the occasion and confront those who are going to spoil the education system in the Valley. The burning of 26 schools is not only a grave set back to education  system in the Valley but it will be a financial burden on the poor tax saver whose money has been involved in the construction of school buildings.
A school located in a particular village is the property of that village. And it is village people who have to ensure its safety by exposing the activities behind these anti-national and anti-social elements.
It may not be out of context to mention here that behind the existence of a vibrant society lies a vibrant education system.
Yours etc..
