Books on Bhakti poetry in Kashmiri released

JAMMU, Oct 31: Books on Bhakti poetry in Kashmiri language,  ‘Vyen Gulab’,  written by Prem Nath ‘Prem’ and ‘Lola Amreth’,  written by Dulari Pandita ‘Durga’ were launched, here today.
The book release function was organized by Nagrai Litrary Forum, Jammu and Sat Sharma (CA),  State president of BJP & MLA Jammu (West),  was chief guest on the occasion. Vijay Bakaya  ex Chief Secretary and  MLC and Dr A S Aman,  Additional Secretary of JKAACL  were the guests of honour.
Rishabh Dorjey, a renowned Gazal singer and Pinna Kumari,  mesmerized the audience by singing poetry from the books  while  P N Koul ‘Sahil’,  a well known poet and the scholar,  read  paper on the book.
Sat Sharma, during his address,  congratulated the writer for his work to preserve the Kashmiri culture and language. Vijay Bakaya said that he has read both the books and felt that the writer has spiritual connection with the God.
The programme was presided over by Makhan Lal Pandita and  coordinated by Pran Nath Pandita (president of Prem Sangeet Niketan). A large number of people, writers and scholars, who  included P L Swadeshi (president Nagrai Litrary Forum), T N Ganjoo (Vishvas), Prof  P N Trisal,  Nath Ji Koul, Kusum Dhar, Pyarey Hatash, Avtar Hugami, Rattan Lal Raina, C L Kaw and Bal Ji attended the function.
