SRINAGAR, Oct 31: Senior PDP Leader, Mohd Dilawar Mir and his son, MLA Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir, have expressed serious concern over the mysterious burning of educational institutions in various parts of the Valley.
In a joint statement, the father-son-duo has condemned burning of school buildings in various parts of the Valley and sought stern punishment to those found indulging in this heinous crime.
They said education has direct bearing on the future of our children adding that we cannot afford destruction of our education system, which had earlier also been victim of turmoil in nineties.
Both appealed the people from all shades of life to stand guard against any onslaught on our education system.
