JAMMU, Oct 25: The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof Ashok Aima has been appointed as member of the first governing body of the Society of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu.
The communication in this regard was received from Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Government of India, wherein Prof Ashok Aima has been appointed as member of first Governing body of the Society of IIM, Jammu. The other Members in the governing body from J&K include Chief Secretary Brij Raj Sharma and Dr Asgar Hasan Samoon, Secretary Higher Education, Government of J&K.
As per communication, Vinay Sheel Oberoi, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, has been appointed as Chairman while other members are Darshana M Dabral, Joint Secre-tary & Financial Advisor, Department of Higher Education MHRD; Anil Dattaraya Sahasr-abudhe, Chairman AICTE; Parveen Kumar, Joint Secretary (Technical Education) Depar-tment of Higher Education MHRD and Prof Ajit Prasad, Mentoring Director, Indian Institute of Lucknow.
