JAMMU, Oct 11: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today demolished unauthorized construction at Nai Basti, Satwari.
On the instructions of Dr Manmohan Singh, Commissioner, JMC Jammu and under the supervision of RS Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (Administration), the enforcement staff of JMC demolished the ongoing unauthorized construction of extending shops at Nai Basti, Satwari which were being raised by a man identified as Pawan Singh.
The demolition operation was conducted with the help of police force. “The said illegal construction may seriously affect the planned development of Jammu City and contravenes the zoning regulation”, the JMC officials said.
