RAJOURI, Oct 8: A full grown leopard was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the bank of a Nallah in Darhal area today.
A villager noticed the leopard lying on a rock, informed other people of the area. They further informed police and Wild Life officials. The party led by Wild Life Warden Nain Chand reached the spot and they removed it to Rajouri. The Veterinary doctors conducted postmortem. The body was then disposed off in presence of magistrate and police. The Wild Life Department has taken cognizance of the matter. No external injury was found on the body. The investigation was in progress.
