JAMMU, Oct 6 :  A group  painting exhibition has been put on display at Master Sansar Chand Gallery, Kala Kendra, Jammu.
The paintings  which are on display were created in National level painters camp organised by Evacuees Property Department in Collaboration with Kala Kendra Jammu, co-ordinated by painter Rohit Verma.
Sangeeta Gupta, lncome Tax Commissioner J&K, also an artist inaugurated the exhibition. She was accompanied by Soujanya Sharma, Director Local Bodies and secretary Kala Kendra in presence of large number of artists.
Participant painters are Jang S. Verman, Vijay Anand, Rohit Verma, Suresh Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Sat Paul Deol, Monaj Chopra, Sahil Ohri, Renu Bala, Jaswinder Singh, Rahul Dogra and Ajay Kumar.
Sangeeta Gupta lauded the endeavour of  Soujanya Sharma to make Kala Kendra buzzing with back to back art activities in the recent past. She appreciated the way to connect common lay man organising such art camps with local themes of soil by Kala Kendra and creating artistic ripples in the city of temples. She underlined the mature works of  Rohit Verma, Vijay Anand and Manoj Chopra. Four day exhibition will conclude on  October 9.
