KATRA, Oct 3: Two persons staying in a private guest house here were arrested and a country made revolver was seized from their possession.
The duo was arrested when SHO along with SDPO Katra raided the said guest following reports of suspicious movement of the two. Besides the revolver, a few books and a map of India were also recovered from their possession.
During preliminary enquiry, they disclosed their names as Deepak alias Sonu, son of Jai Singh of village Niwaspur in Sonipat Haryana and Gulab, son of Balbir of Damoder Wali Gali, West Delhi.
On being contacted by Police, family members of the arrest youth informed that the duo had left home after stealing money.
Police had registered a case and started investigation.
