BISHNAH, Sept 2: Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Namrta Sharma has alleged that State Government has been ignoring the hardships and miseries of border people.
Addressing a large public meeting at border town of Arnia today, Namrta Sharma accused the present BJP-PDP coalition for increasing the difficulties and miseries of border villages of Bishnah constituency. She said the people of Arnia and other border villages of Bishnah are facing lot of hardships and difficulties as development in the area is stand still and people are devoid of regular electricity and drinking water and badly damaged roads.
The Congress leader said that the Arnia Primary Health Centre lacks emergency Medical facilities. She demanded that Govt should made a full fledge well equipped hospital in boarder town of Arnia as many times Pakistan unprovoked firing takes many precious lives of the people this border belt.
PCC general secretary accused BJP of its failure on all fronts in giving a stable and effective governance. She appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Congress party as only Congress has the ability and potential to run the State and nation.
She criticized BJP for a steep price rise of essential commodities of daily use. The lower middle class and poor families are feeling crushed with the brunt of price rise. She alleged that BJP is proving anti- poor and anti- farmer party of India and asked people to teach them a strong lesson at the time of elections.
The Congress leader assured the people of Arnia area that she will fight for their rights and demands. Prominent among those present included Preeto Devi, Renu Choudhary, Neha Bhagat, Basant Singh, Girdhari Lal and Mohinder.
