JAMMU, Aug 31: Retirees of various State Government departments were today given warm send off by their colleagues on their superannuation.
A warm farewell was given to the SI Roshan Lal son of Hari Chand, resident of Anjol (Kishtwar), ASI Sansar Chand son of Dewan Chand, resident of Treva (Arnia), Jammu, ASI Bansi Lal son of Anant Ram, resident of Lalay Chak (Bishnah), Jammu and HC Rakesh Kumar son of Balwant Raj, resident of Mangnar (Poonch), on their superannuation, by Jammu Police during a function organized in District Police Lines, Jammu.
SSP Jammu, Dr Sunil Gupta, SP Hqrs, Romesh Chander Kotwal, Deputy SP DAR, Gourav Mahajan, RI DPL, Inspector Sohail Rashid and other staff members were present on the occasion. Each retiree was honored with a cheque of Rs 50,000 as retirement gift (out of Police Welfare Fund). SSP Jammu wished them a happy and prosperous future life.
Director Colleges, Prof Tariq Ahmad Kawoosa and Principal, Government Degree College (GDC) Pampore, Prof Zahoor Ahmad, were accorded warm send off on their superannuation by the College Principals of the valley on Wednesday during a farewell function held at Amar Singh College, Srinagar, wherein the retiring officers were wished a healthy and happy post-retirement life.
A warm send off was also accorded to Chabil Singh, Senior Assistant in Jammu Development Authority (JDA) by other employees of the department on his superannuation after rendering 42 years of active service in the department. Vice-Chairman and other senior officers and officials of the department wished the retiring official a healthy post retirement life.
Ashok Kumar Gandotra, Research Assistant, Divisional Soil Survey Scheme, Jammu was given a graceful and ceremonial send off by the staff and officers of the Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu here today on his retirement from the Government service after more than 32 years in the different wings of Agriculture Department in various capacities.
Sudesh Koul, Director Agriculture, Jammu speaking on the occasion highlighted various achievements of Gandotra during his service career. He along with AK Malhotra, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension), complemented Gadotra for rendering dedicated and unblemished services and also wished him a very happy and prosperous retired life.
Warm wishes for a happy and prosperous life were also extended to other retiring officers and officials of the department namely Lok Nath, Mushroom Development Officer, Kathua, Onkar Sharma, JAEO Doda, Chanchal Singh, JAEO Marh, Deedar Singh, Field Assistant, Jammu, Soma Devi, Field Assistant, RS Pura, Abdul Mobin, Field Assistant, Rajouri, Mohd Sharif, Storekeeper, Doda, Ali Mohd, Field Assistant, Rajouri and Chaman Lal, Mali, SMF Chakrohi.
A warm farewell was accorded by the staff of Sheep Husbandry Department (SHD), Jammu to Bishwa Mittar (Assistant Livestock Officer), Muneer Ahmed Dar (Flock Inspector) and Ghulam Din (Assistant Stockman), who retired from the Government service on attaining the age of superannuation. Joint Director (Extension), SHD Jammu and other officers and officials of the department wished all the retirees a happy and prosperous retirement life.
Chmail Singh, a driver in Mechanical North Division, Jammu of PHE department, and vice-president of PHE Department Driver Cleaners Union, who retired today from the Government service on attaining the age of superannuation, was given a warm send off by the Union members. Sudesh Sharma, AEE PHE (Mech) Sub Division Company Bagh, Jammu, other officials of the department and members of Union wished the retiring official a happy post retirement life.
A warm and affectionate send off was accorded to Mohd Iqbal Sohil, Saddar Mohasib of Revenue Department posted at DC Office Doda, today. Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Bhupinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda, Mohd Hanief Malik, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Doda, Ranjeet Singh, Chief Planning Officer, Doda, Yoginder Katoch, Tehsildar Doda, Nasir Ali, besides other officers and officials of the department extended best wishes to Saddar Mohasib for a healthy post retirement life.
A warm farewell was also accorded to Pawan Jamwal, Block Development Officer, Panthal at Reasi. DDC Reasi, Ravinder Kumar, Director, Rural Development Jammu, Pardeep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Development, Reasi, Suram Chand Sharma, District Panchayat Officer, Rajeev Khajuria, Executive Engineer (REW), Prem Kapoor, BDOs, AEEs and other staff members were present on the occasion.
A warm send off was also accorded to Headmaster, Government Girls High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Swatantar Sharma, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation after rendering 37 years of service in the Education department.
She served as Teacher in Tehsil Education Office, Hiranagar, Girls High School, Basoli, Gandhi Nagar High School as Master in Rangpur Mullana, Satwari-Miran Sahib and Headmaster in Government Girls High School, Digiana and Gandhi Nagar.
A function was organised to accord warm and touching farewell to Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Foreman Mechanical Division, Ravi Tawi Irrigation Complex, Jammu, on his superannuation today.
Mr Sharma rendered more than 40 years of meritorious, commendable and unblemished service in the department. RTIC Chief Engineer H R Jeerath, Shiv Kumar Sharma, president, INTUC J&K Pradesh, K K Badyal, Atul Chib, Anoop Verma, AEE and other officers/ official of the Department were present on the occasion.
All the officers and officials present on the occasion wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.
