JAMMU, Aug 30: J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib organized Investiture Ceremony for the session 2016-17.
Principal of the institution Sanjeev Pradhan, presented the welcome address and gave the brief description about the ceremony.
The function was commenced with a welcome song followed by oath taking ceremony by all the council members.
Nikhil Manhas and Monika Meenia were elected as Head Boy and Head Girl of the School, Sonika Meenia got the badge of cultural secretary whereas Saranjot Singh was elected as Sports Captain. Nitish Andotra and Preety Choudhary were elected as House Captain of Gandhi House, Gurpreet Singh and Prableen Kour as House Captain of Ambedkar House, Jatin Singh and Sumran Rana as House Captain of Nehru House, Harman Singh and Ashiya Choudhary as House Captain of Subash House. Apart from this, School Prefect also got badges.
The special guest SSP Rajneesh Pran, SO to DIG, along with Principal Sanjeev Pradhan presented the badges and sashes to the council members in presence of Deputy Director Prosecution Purshotam Sharma and SHO Miran Sahib Pawan Kumar.
On the occasion, a draft of Rs 37,916 was donated to Help Age India.
