JAMMU, Aug 29: Government Higher Secondary School, Jagti, Nagrota celebrated its annual day today.
On the occasion, MLC Surinder Ambardar was the chief guest, while Joint Director Education Mohammad Javid was guest of honour. Chief Education Officer (CEO), Jammu, JK Sudan was special invite. DEPO Jammu AK Koul, Dy CEO Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore and Sanjay Dhar, Social activist also attended the function.
Principal of the school, Santosh Kumar presented the welcome address and highlighted the achievement of school during the past five years.
On the occasion, students presented cultural programmes which kept the audience spell bound throughout the function.
MLC Surinder Ambardar and CEO assured the school management that every possible help would be extended to make this school a model school. Ambardar exhorted students to work hard for building this nation. Sanjay Dhar also spoke on the occasion.
Principal and staff wished a prosperous future life to the retirees Des Raj Basin, BK Raina and Avtar Krishan.
