JAMMU, Aug 23: Office of the Dean Students Placement, University of Jammu, organized an interaction of the Vice-Chancellor Prof R D Sharma with the alumni of the university, here today.
The alumni present at the function, gave their feedback and suggestions for the betterment of the University. They said that institution building cannot be done in isolation and that interaction with the alumni on a regular basis will be helpful in generating fresh ideas. They further suggested that departmental alumni meets need to be organized for creating an interacting and participatory platform and creation of an Alumni Association interactive website is a positive step forward in this direction.
During the interaction, the Vice-Chancellor encouraged the alumni to use the platform for mutual interactions and collaborations. “Such interactions will create learning opportunities for the current students, by providing them feedback on the changes taking place in the world” he added.
