Kissan Credit Camp organized

Dignitaries handling over a cheque to one of the beneficiaries during of function organised by EDB and NABARD at Jammu on Thursday.

JAMMU, Sept 27: Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) in collaboration with NABARD organized Kisan Credit Camp-cum-Awareness programme at village Dharap, block Satwari, in which farmers of the said village and adjoining areas participated.
The function was presided over by Bank’s Chairman, AK Razdan while, SS Patwa, Deputy General Manager, NABARD, was the chief guest. Senior functionaries of the Bank and Government officials were also present.
ML Radhu, Branch Manager, presented the welcome address and gave resume of the various loan as well as deposit products of the Bank.
On the occasion, cheques were distributed among the beneficiaries of KCC scheme besides Dairy Entrepreneurs Development Scheme (DEDS) scheme of NABARD. Branch issued sanction letters worth Rs 1.36 crore to 150 farmers of the village.
AK Razdan, Chairman, in his address urged upon the farmers to take full advantage of the Bank’s schemes which have been tailor-made to cater to the financial requirements of the rural population.
SS Patwa, Deputy General Manager NABARD, highlighted various NABARD schemes including formation of Farmers Clubs, Self Help Groups, Joint Liability Groups, Agri-clinics etc.
DN Bhat, General Manger (Credit) spoke about various schemes and loan products like KCC and recently launched Gold Loan scheme of the Bank.
BL Bhat, Regional Manager, asked all the villagers to get themselves linked to bank and take benefit of various banking facilities.
