JAMMU, Aug 16: Continuing the spree of development in Jammu West, State president BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated newly constructed lanes and drains at Patoli and Toph Sherkhania areas of Ward number 39.
Accompanied by a large number of people including JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, Sharma inaugurated the works in the presence of local residents, social activists and political workers of the area.
The works were done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rupees 10 lakhs and a total of four lanes were constructed under the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that these areas required immediate attention and keeping in view the demands of the residents, the works had to be taken up in order to provide best possible infrastructure to the masses of these areas.
He said that all 26 Wards of the Constituency have been kept on priority and developmental works are in progress in all wards of Jammu West. He stated that it is his prime duty to serve the masses and it will be seen that no area of Jammu West is ignored and development will reach every nook and corner of the Constituency.
Sharma also toured the adjoining lanes of the area as well and he directed the officials of JMC to jot down the works to be taken up in the area. The residents also thanked the MLA for solving their grievances.
Executive Engineer Central Division Parvodh Sharma, AEE JP Saraf, JE Satish Malla, Kuldeep Magotra, Bal Khajuria, Sanjeev Sharma, Jai Singh Chib, Prem Sudan, Vinod Khajuria, Madan Sharma, Varinder Singh, Rajat Sudan, Tara Chand, Kuldeep Singh, Vinod Singh, Arjun Singh, Subash Sharma, Subash Dubey, Govind Singh, Raj Kumar, Purshottam Singh, Karan Singh, Gopal Singh, Arvind Sharma and several others were also present on the occasion.
