JAMMU, July 29: Station Director, Radio Kashmir Jammu, Vijay Kumar Sambyal, was accorded a warm and affectionate farewell on his retirement on superannuation.
The farewell function was joined among others by Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Dr Arvinder Singh Amn and former Station Director Radio Kashmir as also Zia, Program Executive Radio Kashmir Srinagar.
All wished Sambyal, also popularly known as Rangeeley Thakur, a happy and healthy post retirement life. A photobook on his two years journey, clicked, composed and compiled by Program Executive Nitish Arora was presented to him.
Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union accorded a warm send-off to Tilotama Devi, Assistant Registrar, Mohni Devi, Section Officer and Mohan Lal, Head Assistant, who retired after attaining age of superannuation today. Union president Pawan Singh and others hailed the contributions of retirees.
Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association gave a retirement party to bid farewell to Mohan Lal and Des Raj on their retirement. Association president R L Kaith and others also spoke on the occasion and wished the retiring colleagues a prosperous, happy and healthy life after retirement.
The Officers and officials of Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Srinagar, under the chairmanship of Director Information, Zubair Ahmad, today organized a farewell function to accord warm send-off to Raja Attar Singh Sumbria, AIO and Hukum Chand, Head Assistant on attaining superannuation after serving the department for over three decades. All wished them healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
