Free hand given by PDP-BJP to secessionists led to chaos: NPP

JAMMU, July 25: State president of  NPP Balwant Singh Mankotia has said that free hand given to the secessionists by the PDP-BJP  has led to the chaos and turmoil in the State.
Talking to media persons here today Mankotia said that he met the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at Srinagar on Sunday and also narrated the same to him besides, discussing the over all situation in the State.
Mr Mankotia disclosed that he had submitted to the Union Home Minister that ever since the BJP-PDP had forged an alliance to form the Government, ugly subversive incidents had been continuously taking place thus vitiating peace in the State. He said that the two parties were opposite poles  and their subsequent coalition had betrayed the aspirations of people. He further added that it was one of the factors which led to the turbulence in the Valley.
The NPP leader further said that he also brought to the notice of Home Minister that during the present regime, open space was being  given to the secessionists and anti-national elements which had emboldened them to rebel against the State and the country. He said that there were several incidents during the holy month of Ramadaan where ISIS and Pak flags were brazenly waved by the miscreants in Kashmir to flare up tension and the deliberate negligence and gross failure of the State Government to control the situation were responsible for the prevalent crisis in Valley.
Mr Mankotia divulged that Pakistan had been persistently pushing terrorists in the State and unleashing false propaganda against India using electronic and social media. It was also submitted to the Home Minister that hostile Pakistan had waged a full scale proxy war against India as it was evident from the observance of ‘Black Day’ on July 20 in Pakistan against the elimination of dreaded Hizb commander Burhan Wani in Kashmir.
The Ex-MLA urged the Union Government to rein-in Pakistan by diplomatic means to prevent the rogue country to spread terror on our soil. He said that it was a high time for India to take up the issue of declaration of Pakistan as a  terrorist state besides political banishment of the rogue nation from the international community. Mankotia said that imposition of Governor rule  only could save the State from further death and destruction.
